BlueTie Teaches MBA Students About Business, Technology and Innovation
ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 16, 2004 — BlueTie, Inc. a leading provider of Web-based messaging and collaboration solutions, announces today that it has been selected to be the focus of a Columbia University MBA program study. The company, headquartered in Rochester, was selected by Professor Adam Dell to be the mid-term project for the university's MBA program.

Professor Dell who is also Managing General Partner of Impact Venture Partners and brother of Michael Dell from Dell Computers, invited BlueTie's David Koretz to speak to Columbia's MBA students about the business he founded in 1999 and the strategy that has led BlueTie to become a leader in advanced messaging software. Originally focusing exclusively on providing hosted email and collaboration solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, BlueTie has expanded its reach to serve a larger customer base, including service providers and specific verticals.
