Primus Telecom to Deploy BlueTie Messaging Solutions

ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 06, 2004 — BlueTie, Inc., a leading developer of business and carrier-class messaging solutions, announced today that they have been selected by Australia-based telecommunications and Internet service provider Primus Telecom to provide their customers with email collaboration solutions in two of their key business subsidiaries.

BlueTie will provide its email tools and collaboration capabilities to customers of Primus Telecom's top 10 local service ISP, Hotkey, and its domain name registration business, PlanetDomain.

PlanetDomain and Hotkey are planning to deploy BlueTie's collaboration solutions to their business and residential customers as a way of providing greater functionality, such as shared calendars, contacts and files, along with instant messaging and other tools that increase productivity. BlueTie's award winning web-based interface will allow customers to better manage their home and business communications, without the high cost of a traditional outsourced solution and additional hardware purchases.

"Clearly, carriers are continuing to recognize the benefits of being able to offer their customers value-added solutions that compliment their product portfolio," said David Koretz, CEO of BlueTie.

"We are pleased to have been selected by a leading carrier like Primus, not only for the great functionality and reliability of BlueTie's product, but for its highly scalable capabilities," said Koretz. "We look forward to providing messaging solutions to Primus' growing base of customers now, and in the future."

"We are delighted to be implementing the BlueTie product, which we believe incorporates outstanding technology and user interface," said Primus General Manager Product Management, Development and Strategy, Campbell Sallabank.

"We look forward to a long-term relationship with BlueTie as we extend to our customers new services which allow them to operate more efficiently and cost effectively," Sallabank said.

Primus Telecom is a wholly owned subsidiary of McLean, Virginia-based Primus Telecommunications Group, Incorporated (NASDAQ:PRTL), and is the fourth largest telecommunications carrier in Australia.
