Simplify Your Life
The BlueTie Calendar is intuitive, making it easy to use. Information is presented in a clean and simple format, with many options for you to choose from when it comes to your viewing preferences. Adjust the size of your calendar to fit your screen. Choose daily, weekly or monthly views with the handy tabs located at the top of your calendar. You can even select a custom date range by dragging and dropping your mouse along the dates you want included.
BlueTie will even alert you when you have more meetings on any given day that can be displayed, by noting "X more" on the days that you have more appointments. Simply click on the link to see all items listed for that day.
Easily Manage Appointments
With BlueTie's Calendar, scheduling appointments is simple. Just highlight a block of time and type a description. Or use QuickAdd - BlueTie's natural language tool for scheduling appointments. Need to change an event's duration? Just resize it. Need to change the date or time? Just drag & drop. Or use the convenient right-click menus.
Calendar Sharing
Have someone else scheduling meetings for you or do you simply want to make it easier for others to schedule meetings? BlueTie lets you share your calendar with other BlueTie users. You decide who and what level of access they get: free/busy, read-only or full access. And others can do the same. When a calendar is shared, the user's name will appear under your own in the calendar pane. Simply check the box next to their name to see their calendar overlaid on your own.
Coordinate Schedules with the Click of a Mouse
Schedule meetings in a matter of seconds, with no phone calls, voice mails, waiting for callbacks, or wasted time.
To schedule meetings or other events with friends and co-workers, you can choose to send electronic meeting invitations with a suggested date and time, or use the powerful "find first available" feature that quickly searches each invitee's calendar to identify periods of common availability.
To view your co-workers' schedules overlaid on your own, just check the box next to their name. BlueTie's Calendar even supports the industry-standard iCal format for scheduling appointments with non-BlueTie users.
You can even add attachments to your meeting notices before sending them, so all attendees have easy access to any documents that are pertinent to the meeting topic. Forgot to add an attachment before sending the notice? Simply add it after the fact. All attendees will receive the information.
Never Be Late Again
Choose from a variety of reminder intervals and modes, eliminating forgotten commitments. BlueTie lets you choose the number of days, hours, or minutes prior to an event for your reminder to be delivered, and whether your reminder should be delivered via email or in a pop-up.
Booking Travel Has Never Been Easier
BlueTie users can book travel faster than ever, thanks to our partnership with Orbitz. Simply use the book travel button within your BlueTie Calendar and type in the dates you'll be traveling. Your flight options will be overlaid directly onto your calendar, so you can see any potential conflicts and choose travel times that fit your needs without having to toggle back and forth between various screens.
An Integrated Dashboard for Your Life
BlueTie's Calendar is fully integrated with a "My Day" dashboard that provides an at-a-glance overview of your appointments for the day, tasks currently due or past-due, and any new inbox items or other notifications.
BlueTie's "My Day" page is also a great way to stay on top of holidays, birthdays, anniversaries or other special times during the year. Reminders pop-up when those special days are near, along with links to "Order Gifts" and "Order Flowers". By clicking on these links, you have the opportunity to purchase something for that special occasion right from your BlueTie account!
